Well, we had a fantastic celebration of our 40 years at our Ruby Party on 15th October.

We were joined by our founder members, many ex-members from over the years and many friends, old and new. There was singing and dancing, and heaps of good food – all red, of course and including a fabulous birthday cake.

We started the evening with cocktails and after a welcome entertainment we sat down to our splendid meal.  There may have been more singing between courses.

After dinner we had a very stylish parade of Ruby hats. This was followed by the highlight of the evening – we danced Jockey to the Fair with all of the ex-glories that were there – brilliant!

We also had other competitions – who could recognise the Glory baby and who could identify all the other sides we had danced with over the years?  There was a table for sharing memories and a display of old Glory kit.

Most of all there were good friends wherever you looked.
